Over 600.000 people die because of malaria every year. Many are also in Myanmar, some even in Christian assemblies we are in contact with.

When we asked a brother in Myanmar how many he knew who died of malaria in a given year, he told us about 11 people. We then organized a distribution of malaria medicine in every village where we knew a Christian assembly - one emergency pack to every household regardless of their faith, of course. The Gospel was also shared at this occasion, in order to care for the “whole man“ as is our principle. The next year we double-checked how many had died of malaria: There was only one known case left!
