Your support in 2022 significantly aided our brothers and sisters in Lebanon during their economic crisis. As conditions worsen (economically and because of the war), we plan to send further assistance to the saints in 2023/2024. Your continued support is invaluable.

Our dear brothers and sisters here in Lebanon continue to be an example in how brave and courageous they are in this difficult situation:

🙏🏾 In winter it is also quite cold here and there can be snow. Heating is becoming more and more of a problem: The heating costs are very high; Often you only heat for 2-3 hours in the morning and evening or you put a small wood stove in a room to warm a small corner in the house.

🙏🏾 Food prices have continued to rise significantly (doubled or even quadrupled)

🙏🏾 The health insurance no longer works, everything health costs must be borne by yourself.

🙏🏾 The banks no longer pay you out your savings, only $400 a month are cashed out

🙏🏾 There is often a lack of water with all the discomfort that this means

🙏🏾 Great inflation: 1USD:89.000 Lira (compared to 1:44000, when we left last in Dec 22)

The brothers and sisters in Christ try to help each other and also be active among the unbelievers, which is very nice and motivating to see:

Syrian and Lebanese children are taught in Christian schools and camps, but financing this work is very difficult. Some lessons have to be taught without paper and the employees have to work on a voluntary basis. They also try to talk to the parents about the Lord.

As the prisons are the toughest grounds in Lebanon, our brothers and sisters reach out to prisoners with the Gospel and practical help.

Humanitarian aid in form of family packages including New Testaments and Christian literature are being distributed together with a Gospel message.
