LEBANON: Operation Helping the Displaced

LEBANON: Operation Helping the Displaced

The number of displaced persons within Lebanon is way over a million. That’s about 20% of Lebanon’s population.

Local brothers and sisters see a huge opportunity to be faithful witnesses and helpers in this situation.

One of our volunteers writes: “Should we go around doing good and healing (preaching to) those who are oppressed by the devil? Should we have compassion as our Lord did for us? Should we ask the Lord where we can feed these multitudes? Or should we listen to Him say to us: ‘Give what you have’ and He will bless? If your answer is yes, what do you do practically? I have dedicated myself and my capabilities to serve as a volunteer at my own expense. If you want, … we can be partners in serving the Lord Jesus Christ.”

In this project we partner with local saints who help displaced people in greatest needs within Lebanon. Additionally, they share the Gospel with them and invite them to the nearest assembly.

Help the Displaced – Family Care Distribution

Project Overview

Thousands of families in Lebanon continue to live in temporary shelters after losing their homes during the recent conflict. Basic personal necessities remain unavailable or unaffordable. Through this project, Frontline Hearts seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ by providing essential family care items while faithfully sharing the Gospel with every participant.

This outreach is open to both Muslim and Christian families who do not yet know the Lord Jesus Christ. Every distribution is intentionally combined with a clear Gospel message, creating opportunities for personal conversations, prayer, and ongoing follow-up.

Program

  1. Invitation of displaced families
  2. Singing time (approximately 10 minutes)
  3. Clear Gospel presentation
  4. Distribution of humanitarian aid

Humanitarian Assistance

According to the available budget, each participating family will receive essential items such as:

  • Underwear for women, men, and children
  • Socks for women, men, and children
  • Bed sheets (budget permitting)
  • Milk (budget permitting)
  • Four packs of feminine hygiene pads per family

Purpose

Our desire is not only to meet urgent physical needs but also to bring the hope of the Gospel to families who have experienced great loss. By combining practical compassion with the message of salvation, we pray that many hearts will be opened to the Lord Jesus Christ and that lasting relationships can be established for continued discipleship and care.

Target Group: Displaced families whose homes have been destroyed, including both Muslim and Christians.

"Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."— Matthew 5:16
