As soon as the war between Russia and Ukraine broke out in February 2022, several waves of refugees needed help in repatriation to countries of refuge. While Luc and Annette Ch. prepared a network of families in Switzerland and Pierre-Elie S. a network in France, we started to receive people in distress at the border, helped them find accommodation in a nearby refugees camp or in hotels which we booked, and organized the transfer all the way to their new homes. Others joined the base team in this relief effort over time, especially for transportation and for needed administrative steps in the receiving countries (in particular Jean-Philippe N.). Dozens of families and individuals could be helped and placed that way with the help of friendly donors who provided the needed funds for this relief.

We also created a special message video for the soldiers on both sides which was viewed almost half a million times.
